Satay is Southeast Asian dish of seasoned, skewered and grilled meat, served with peanut sauce. If you looking for best satay in town, then its in Lau Pa Sat.

Lau Pa Sat street is the only satay street in Singapore. Street comes alive in dark, opens from 7 pm to 1 am.

It is a commuting road turned into open outdoor dining area in night, of Lau Pa Sat Festival market.

It is always bustling with crowd and very famous among tourists, locals and office goers.

The Satay
Atmosphere of the street is a perfect place to dine, with setup of folding tables, chairs and getting ready charcoal fire, skyscrapers in background, city light, enthusiastic crowd and above all irresistible aroma of barbeque.



Satay street have number of satay stalls, they serve skewers of chicken, beef, mutton, babat(tripe) and prawn. The price of single skewer is 70 cents, expect for prawn which costs 2 dollars.


Apart from satay diners you can also find most of other Asian cuisines from Chinese, Malaysian, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Filipino, Indian and Korean food.
