Orchids are the majestic flowers with amazing colours and beauty. If you are orchid lover then National Orchid Garden is a must visit.
National Orchid Garden is located within the Singapore Botanic Gardens. It is house of more than 60,000 orchid plants, consisting of more than 1000 species and more than 2,000 hybrids.
Garden is designed with the concept of colour zones:
The Spring Zone– Colours of bright and lively shades of gold, yellow and creams…
The Summer Zone– Zone of strong reds and pinks…
The Autumn Zone– Matured shades zone of browns and purples…
The Winter Zone-Zone of whites and blues.
HOW TO REACH
The best way to reach is through train, alight at the Botanic Gardens Station which is about a 20 minutes walk to the National Orchid Garden.

Go for Photography- If you are photography lover you can spend whole day clicking pictures of beautiful orchids 🙂 🙂
Go for walk in Botanic Gardens– It’s a 158 year old tropical garden and also UNESCO World heritage site. It has more 10,000 species of flora and spread across 82 hectares area.
Sometimes there will be live musical performances in Botanic Gardens.
