Sneak Walk to Tsukiji Fish Market, Tokyo!!!

Recently I was on a solo trip to Japan. During my one week stay I roamed around in Tokyo, Kyoto and Hiroshima. Japan was a lifetime experience. I really had one of the best days of my life. To pen my journey and travelogue of Japan, I am coming out with mini Vlog series. First in the series is “Tsukiji Fish Market, Tokyo”

Must visit if you are a seafood lover, it is one of the largest wholesale seafood market of the world. It is located near the Tsukijishijo Station. The market has two sections:

  1. Inner Market– The wholesale market, where wholesale dealers operate small stalls and where the fish auctions happens.
  2. Outer Market– Mixture of wholesale and retail shops that sells Japanese restaurant supplies, groceries and seafood, and many restaurants especially sushi restaurants.

Seafood variety, you name them that will be there. The market has more than 480 different kinds of seafood. Oysters, Prawns, Squid, Octopus, Sea Urchin and many more 🙂 🙂

Roam around the market, relish the seafood. Also not to miss Green Tea ice-cream for which Japan is famous for.
