“A Lovely Evening”

A Lovely Evening with a cup of tea, sitting next to my window,
My eyes slowly glares to the world outside.

Sun dusking to rest with pale tint of orange diminishing away,
Clouds floating by without a sound,
Crescent silver line slowly unfolding behind sky white canopy.

Leaves turning slowly to sleep,
Flower withering away from freshness,
Birds immersing the sky,
Heading off into the sunset.

 Hustle bustle of the city at its peak,
Throngs of people galloping to their abode.

Night sky slowly coming to live,
City light beaming high,
Skyscrapers gleam of lights touching the eternal sky.

Slowly plunging me deep into plethora of my thoughts,
Suddenly phone rings,
Waking me from my bundle of thoughts.
